Do You Question Things?

Emperor Sign On- This guy is really on a roll in my opinion.  An expensive sushi Roll... Emperor sign Off-

Most people think they know it all. And their financial situation reflects this attitude.
I’ve noticed that successful people are always open to new things and ideas.
They may be set in their ways in some areas, but when it comes to business and money, they stay open.
They don’t accept everything as a fact, and separate “truth” from “fact.”
There is a difference.
At one point people thought the world was flat.
It was THEIR truth, but it wasn’t a fact.
Yet they believed and lived their lives as if it was.
Some things are facts, yet our thoughts, feelings and actions come from what we “believe” to be a fact.
Our subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between what’s real and what’s not.
So…
Even if something is not factual, we ofen accept it as a truth and act according to those beliefs.
Like… the world is flat.
Or… you have to work too hard to make money.
Or… it takes too much sacrifice to become successful.
Or… for me to have something someone has to give up something.
I’m sure you can make a long list of your own.
How about this.
Fill in the blank…
The only way I can build a business is ________.
If I didn’t have to ________ I’d be much more successful.
If I only had _______ I’d make a lot more money.
My problem is _________.
I can’t make more money because I need _______.
Whether you consciously think these or not, a lot of it is playing in the background, reaffirming those beliefs and you accept them as truth.
The good news is that YOU are 100% in control of what goes into your mind.
You can’t control what goes on around you, but you absolutely can control what you allow to get in and how you respond to it.
Easier said than done, I know.
But with practice it does become easier.
Successful people don’t accept “truths” as facts.
They question the status quo and look for better, easier, simpler ways to get the job done.
Unfortunately we’re not trained to think this way in school.
It’s something you have to develop on your own.
So, take a few minutes think about what “beliefs” or “truths” you’ve been operating from that are hindering your growth and standing in the way of your success.
And then once you know what they are, why not change them?
Cheers,
Vitaly Grinblat

Are You Settling For Less?

Emperor sign on- This guy really rocks.  His writing is super smooth and straight to the point.  Take a minute to read his insightful marketing understanding. Emperor sign off-
Last night I took my daughter to a class in a new dance studio.
It was a fast-paced and very intense 2 hour session, much tougher than what she’s used to.
But that’s one of the reasons I wanted her to try it it, so she can get better.
She’s been dancing for 5 years and her skills haven’t been improving, and as a result she was getting bored.
There were a few other girls in the class who came from the same dance school as my daughter.
And during the class, the instructor, a highly skilled dancer and Latin dance champion, turned to these girls and said…
“All of you are making this one move wrong, and it’s exactly the same. It’s obvious you’ve developed that habit already, so we need to break it and retrain you.”
And I immediately thought about the saying… “Practice makes perfect”… and how wrong it is.
When you practice making the wrong moves, you’ll develop a habit of always making the wrong moves.
And it’s true of everything.
Ask any golfer, tennis player, or any other athlete.
Practice your golf swing or tennis serve the wrong way, and you’ll always make the same mistake, which will turn into a habit, and as you know… those are hard to break.
Which is why… “practice doesn’t make perfect… perfect practice makes perfect.”
And just like in sports and dancing, what you practice on a regular basis has turned into habits for you.
And they’re either helping you or hurting you.
Here are some habits we all have that have a tremendous impact on the quality of our life.
  • How you treat others.
  • How much money you save or invest.
  • How much attention you give to your health.
  • How you respond to challenges.
  • How you handle negativity and failure.
  • How you deal with distractions.
  • How often you communicate with your list.
  • How you think about the future.
  • How much time you spend improving and getting better.
And the list can go on and on…
I once read somewhere that our life is basically a sum of the choices we’ve made and the habits we’ve developed.
How true.
And the good news is, moving forward you can make different choices and develop NEW habits.
Easy?
No it’s not. And as I see it, the older you get, the harder it is to change.
However change is the key.
All super successful people are “happily dissatisfied.” When I read that in a book which I highly recommend – “177 Mental Toughness Secrets Of The World Class”… I realized why I always feel like I need to do more.
While the world says… “you need to stop to smell the roses”, my attitude’s always been that I WANT TO GET BETTER.
Jim Rohn had a great saying… “How tall does a tree grow? As tall as it can.”
Then why is it that people settle for less? Many say if I only have _______ this will be enough for me.
Why not make as much as you can?
Why not save as much as you can?
Why not be as healthy as you can?
Why not be as good as you can in whatever you’re doing?
While most people look for ways to AVOID change and growth, champions look for ways to challenge themselves and get better.
The result is obvious.
Most people struggle with pretty much everything, while those who choose the latter lead a very different life.
If you want more out of life, and are dissatisfied with the results you’ve been getting… THAT’S GOOD!
Dissatisfaction is step 1.
Now it’s just a matter of deciding what habits have you developed that are keeping you stuck and start changing them.
Why settle for anything less than the best?
Cheers,
Vitaly Grinblat

Lil' Wayne Finally Apologizes to Family of Emmit Till: To Late??!!

5/22/2013 08:13:00 PM 0 Comments

Emperor sign on- What y'all thinking!??! I'm just sayin'...

Dear Till Family:
As a recording artist, I have always been interested in word play. My lyrics often reference people, places and events in my music, as well as the music that I create for or alongside other artists.
It has come to my attention that lyrics from my contribution to a fellow artist's song has deeply offended your family. As a father myself, I cannot imagine the pain that your family has had to endure. I would like to take a moment to acknowledge your hurt, as well as the letter you sent to me via your attorneys.
Moving forward, I will not use or reference Emmett Till or the Till family in my music, especially in an inappropriate manner. I fully support Epic Record's decision to take down the unauthorized version of the song and to not include the reference in the version that went to retail. I will not be performing the lyrics that contain that reference live and have removed them from my catalogue.
I have tremendous respect for those who paved the way for the liberty and opportunities that African-Americans currently enjoy. As a business owner who employs several African-American employees and gives philanthropically to organizations that help youth to pursue their dreams my ultimate intention is to uplift rather than degrade our community.
Best,
Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr.

MY VISION

5/16/2013 07:17:00 PM 0 Comments

Health & Wealth y'all- I'm just going to jump right into this. Yesterday someone I know and respect both in the industry of muZic and in the world of Network Marketing/Online Marketing sent me a msg. In it he asked me a very powerful question, and I wanted to share it with y'all. The question: What's your vision?!  On it's face, it's straight forward and simple, however, when you dig deep you can find some hidden gems in this question.  For one thing, it got me to thinkin'??  This isn't just anyone asking me my vision, or someone who's just starting to read The Nerv of Them MMM:Blog, you know.  Nor was it someone that never had conversations with me on the topic.  I'm saying to myself other people must not be clear on my vision either.  A lot of y'all are asking the same question +Bernard Jackson Jr  asked me....What's your vision!??!

I'm going to take this time to give y'all an inside look into MY Vision.  First, let me say that  My Vision is always growing, being upgraded and perfected, so to speak. That doesn't mean that it completely changes--like going left after going right.  No, the change I'm speaking of is very different. It's the change of learning how to fly so, now I'm flying to Casablanca instead of taking a boat.  Still definitely going to Casablanca!

Here's a little history on My Vision:  I've been an entrepreneur since I can remember.  Seriously, at seven or eight years old my cousin and I where up early in the mornings on the weekends asking our Moms, "Can we go out and play?"  Then we would get our clothes, pick our hair, and coco butter our little faces (gotta look good =)) , and it's off to Path Mark supermarket to help people with their bags. Would you believe we had an actual system?!  By nine years old we had regulars, alliances (we knew the managers, asst managers, security), and a schedule (breakfast break, lunch break, stop to go home).  You know it's really cute now looking back at two little eight year old professional businessmen, but more than cute it's inspiring!  The fact that two eight year olds with no formal schooling or training, could design a "marketing" strategy to service clients (return shoppers) and build an income stream (some days we made over $100 dollars, some days a lot less) is still to this day truly amazing to me.

I kept this spirit all my life!  In pretty much every endeavor I've been in I have taken this entrepreneur  approach.  At present I'm working to hone these skills to the level of a master!

I was exposed to two industries early on that made a powerful impression on me. One was Hip-Hop, the other was Network Marketing, and there was no turning back.  To many of y'all these two industries sound like a crazy combination, however, when you take a step back and look at it from a different perspective, you can see two things for certain. One they really do compliment each other well (I'll get more into that on this weeks MMM:Blog Post- 6000 Views )  Two, when you're designing a 'niche' you want to be unique.  I was having a conversation about this not too long ago, with master Internet marketing consultant +Terrance Charles .  This guy is just an all around beast on the web!  We were getting into the whole Hip-Hop Marketer persona that I've been developing, and any of you who know Hip-Hop or any entertainment industry for that matter know it's all about relating to the fans. Well, when it comes to network marketing the word fans translates to partners, students, and downline.  My vision is to show the 'partners' that you can generate enough income to make your business very lucrative and at the same time brand yourself, develop your project, and master your craft, while developing your own six or seven figure budget.  The key is to show that it's not three different endeavors, but three parts to one master marketing strategy that compliment each other, and that's exactly what I'm doing!

You know, The Nerv of Them MMM:Blog is working it's way to 10,000 views a month.  I am building real time relationships with bloggers that are making a real names for themselves within the industry of big dawg bloggers!  Like my girl, +Ti Roberts !  She works soooooo hard in this sport and has been recognized by some of the power players in the game.  She took the time to sit down and answer some hard questions about blogging for me (watch video) this in itself is the type of progress that leads to great things in this industry, like the checks I just received =).  And to think, I'm barely scratching the surface because the numbers show millions or even a billion people online at any given time.  Internet marketing is a multi-billion dollar industry!  Making my niche: The Hip-Hop Marketer, a CEO of an independent label, who uses the power of Network Marketing to build and develop income streams, which leads to a mainstream budget for the entertainment company, while mastering the art of leveraging Internet marketing that's My Vision... THE HIP-HOP MARKETER

I hope this was helpful to y'all.  As my team grows my esteem for y'all grows, as well.

Honorable mentions to those who've been following my movement: +Ti Roberts , +Bernard Jackson Jr ., +Terrance Charles , +Naafiah Majid  and others...
