Course description
Welcome to a new year at NRLC! This year we will be working primarily out of our new classroom. By Allah’s Leave, I have taken the time to plan and schedule several exciting lessons, guest speakers and field trips to make this year one that you’ll always remember. Your education means so much to your Abu and I. As muslims, we have an obligation to seek knowledge. Feel free to ask questions. Be sure to complete every assignment that I give you or you will be punished. Take the time in the evenings to review, or go over your work before going to bed. This will better prepare you for school the next day. Begin each day with a smile….and let’s have a great year.
Course objectives
Our main objective is to help each student master the following subjects:
Math
Language Arts
Spelling
Vocabulary
Reading Comprehension
Science
History
Materials Needed
You will be given workbooks, that I expect you to take good care of. Do not rip pages out of your books, unless I tell you to. You will also need pencils,
notebooks or a binder. I also have crayons and construction paper that I will give out during Art. Remember to always put our home school supplies back in our closet at the end of our day :)

Other Information
Tutoring and extra help will be available for any student needing help. Students who take the time to do extra work on their own that is connected to a lesson in class can earn extra points toward their grade.
